I dont quite agree that there should be a specific day to express love and appreciation. It can and should be done on any and every [ordinary] day. And if asked for the rationale, the answer is simply "Love"..
However, i am not against the global celebration because in a way, it reminds the heart-less idiots who tends to neglet people around 'em.
So, Happy love day people!
I just got a copy of Faces magazine and i'm lovin what Lisa Zahran [The Editor] wrote:
Lenny Kravitz said in a recent statement "I Think that love revolution is something that starts within each of us. It starts right in our own spirits and from there it has to be something that we exercise in our homes, in our families, in our small communities and then it grows outwards".
True enough, love is something beyond a mushy Hallmark card. It is a dicipline that starts in our hearts to rule our lives. And with Chinese New Year also coinciding with Cupid'smonth, many of us will be sharing this love with our much loved families this month.
So go ahead and don't be shy to express the love revolution in your lives. Just try to be more sincere than a Hallmark card.
Well said Lisa!!!
Cheers!
