A short trip, not too long ago

Monday, 17th September 2007

Today I’ll write about my recent experience of an outstation visit. I was required to go. Don't ask me why, it's work stuff. So, where did I go?

Port Dickson

I stayed at the Guoman Hotels. Frankly, for a five star hotel, Guoman is highly overrated. I wasn’t pleased with the hotel at all. It has a fantastic sea-view, but it’s only nice to look from your room. If you are thinking of jumping into the sea, forget it. It was not maintained at all. You have to drive out to another area and join the public beach (which is extremely beautiful).

The food was not pleasant and the service was a little shocking. The waiter doesn’t even know how to differentiate butter knife & steak knife. On the other hand, we actually asked a waiter for an ashtray, and he gave us this “What the hell do you want” look. Yeah, he don’t know what is an ashtray.

Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure
