My very first Hari Raya celebration without with my family. I have been celebrating it with my family in Kedah all my life, and this time, i'm in KL. Truly a different experience. Thanks to my friends.

It's deadline!!!!!

20th - Is my deadline to submit my claims to the company. I have not been able to meet the deadline for 3 months. And our limit is 3 months claims.

So, i have to get it done today. And guess what? I got it done! (though i have to stay @ office till 8.30pm on Eid's eve)


This is what came out from my October's receipts bag. Yeah, you would have noticed, i have all sorts of junk in there as well. Vouchers, free tickets etc etc... Most of it went to the dustbin.

I do feel bad for not utilising all the free stuff i got. But when i look at my calender, there is no way in hell i could go enjoy every single thing. So, i don't feel that bad lah...

But, i could have passed it to people right? Dammit. I should start do that. From now on, if i can't use anything i got, i will pass it to friends, or whoever. I will!

All nicely done and submitted. Yeay!

Dinner Treat

My uncle called for a meeting. I went to his restaurant straight after work. I thought it's another addition of our work-in-progress meeting but he actually want to take me for a dinner.


We went to Le Meridian.

The buffet was OKAY. They have plenty of seafood, which is something people might go crazy about, but not with me. I dont eat anything from the sea.

I wanted to go for this:

The Pakistani food, but my uncle would have scolded me. His restaurant serves all of the above, and from the look, they don't look as nice as the one in his shop.

So, i went for western.

I love the desserts!


And their cheese look really yummy.

And i love the ice cream. It's called the "Tiramisu Ice cream". Basically you just choose whatever you want, and they will mix it for you on a ice-plated steel.

Thanks uncle. Next time we go Hilton lah. I like it better there.

What’s your pet?

I was with my family in Sepang. Went out searching for food and found this nice looking mamak. Ordered my naan & tandoori.

While waiting, I notice their aquarium. What’s in it?

Yes. SHARKS!!!! i wonder, how do they feed the bloody fish? Throw raw meat in it? Gosh.

12th Dec – My mum’s birthday
My cousin’s mehndi (it’s a ceremony before the wedding)

13th Dec – Drive to Johor
My cousin’s Nikah at night

14th Dec – Might go to Singapore
My cousin’s wedding reception at night (Johor)

15th Dec – Depart from Johor
Overnight at Melaka

16th Dec – Back to KL
Stay at Sepang (My brother’s house)

17th Dec – Send my family to airport @ 6am and from there, straight to office

My family will be here tomorrow morning, and i have about 3 hours to do my last minute shopping. I lied to my mum when she asked whether i got all my clothes prepared for the wedding.

The culture runs strong in our blood and i have no choice but to follow the traditions when it comes to weddings and stuff like that. I am usually the stubborn one, where people have to literally tell me to dress up properly.

I am suppose to buy a new Kurta for the ceremony, but i manage to improvise something i already have in my wardrobe... haha.. see below:

It's a very old kurta, i'm sure nobody will notice because it's a standard plain Kurta. The jacket (or vest?) is nothing pakistani. It's actually KeyNg. Someone bought it for me few years back, and now i dont curse that person anymore. Finally i can use it! Not bad right?

This is another one, where i have to wear during another function.

Expensive guitars

I was at Alex's apartment the other day. He recently recorded a demo of a brand new song. Its called "Sometimes". It's the first song for the 3rd album. He will be flying off to LA for 3 months and hopefully he will be back in March/April with the complete album.


He got this wonderful collection of guitars.

Alex: I love this one so much, I don’t use it for gigs anymore
Me: Huh? Why?
Alex: It will somehow end up with scratches here and there.
Me: Ok, I better not touch it at all
