Khana Peena

Sometime not too long ago, me & Fedo had dinner at a fancy restaurant near my office. It's called "Khana Peena". It's North Indian food (That's what they call it!)

We were walking around the night market near Plaza Mont Kiara and that dude saw Naan. He wanted to buy and i thought it's better to just go to the restaurant.

So we went, and we had a yummylicious dinner.

This is my favorite. It's called Palak Paneer (Spinach with Cheese)

This was my plate. At first we thought 1 each is enough but somehow we ended ordering 2 more naan after that! Haha

The food was good, and the ambience was nice as well (other tables was empty!). It is slightly overpriced, but acceptable due to it's location.

The best is still Omar Qayyum near Maju Junction!

Something weird happened before we eat. Fedo took something out of his bag and quickly wipe his hand. I was curious

Me: What the hell is that?
Fedo: Awh, nothing.
Me: What do u mean by nothing. I'm not blind okay!
Fedo: Okay. [Showing the bottle]
Me: What the hell?
Fedo: Hehe... Hygine is vey important.
Me: Aahhhhh.......We'll see how long u gonna use that! Let me take a picture of that thing!!

Wondering what the hell is it? It's the new Dettol Instant Hand Sanitiser. Leaves hands feeling refreshed, rinse free & non sticky. Claimed to kill 99.99% of germs.

People in my life

This is a random entry. The past month has been a balance between work and family. My parents were here for a ceremony and i got to meet my relatives.

I didnt take that much picture, coz i didnt think it was important (or newsworthy!) Haha... Here are some pics

They are going to be parents in September.

At the same event, i met my aunt. This Bismi Klostergaard; Very nice person! If you read the society magazines, you should know her face :)

And this is Saadia. My cousin's little gal. But she is more like a sister to me. They live in Leicester, Uk and they came here for summer holiday. They were in Kl for 3 days and we had fun. It was a little holiday for me as well!

It was really nice to be able to hang out with relatives. The bond, the warmth just makes your life complete. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family.

I wanna go holiday in the UK. It's been 8 years since my last trip.

Red Bull Rookies Launched!

The Red Bull Rookies was launched last Thursday. Their souped up DC2 was unveiled at the very same event. It was a good event, we had fun.

The gals are now prepared to hit the circuit. Look out for the all female team at the Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race. Go Red Bull Rookies!

I was obviously busy on that day, so didnt take a pic at all. Thanks to the wonderful people around me who have been kind enough to donate some for me. (I Just feel lik using that word!)

Engagement Card

My Dear friend, Zaff is getting engaged in 2 weeks time. And i am holding the responsibility of running the ceremony. It is such a big deal and i'm trying my very best :) Hehe...

My Laptop is sick

I have not been able to go online since last Friday. I was doing some work on Thursday night and it was perfect but the next morning it just would'nt get connected.

My Friday was filled up with meetings so it was not that bad lah. And my weekend was occupied with fun activities with my parents (they came to attend a function and i decided to give them a short holiday)

Monday -Still can't go online. My emails were piling up and i had to use the webmail insted of outlook. I tried this and that, still didn't work. Asked my colleagues to have a look, still cannot.

I scan the entire pc for virus, nothing. Then i thought maybe because there was just too many files and the laptop cant stand it anymore. So, i transfered alot of files into CD and deleted stuff that's not really important anymore. I also defrag all files, still no improvement.

It's like the laptop has exhausted.

I cannot live without my laptop. I am addicted to the net, and my work require me to be reacheable at all time. I need to be able to go online anytime, anywhere and anyhow.

And i dont really favor a desktop.

The IT Doc came to check my laptop today and said it has to be admitted and he need to perform a surgery on the system (re-format).

I will be getting it back tomorrow (hopefully!). So, i have to spend more time in the office to fullfill my online cravings...

The Comm Circle

It's hard to split my time as my schedule is way too tight. Been collecting stories to post it here but just couldnt find the *peaceful* time to get it done.

Busy Time

Gosh, things are getting extremely busy.

The Rookies Photoshoot

Interviews are very interesting. Especially when it involves 4 hot babes. Hehe... The Red Bull Rookies had series of interviews recently and I was there to check 'em out (I mean the interview lol!)

Ladies are special. So does their interviews. They arrived at the location at 9:00am

First was to get their make-up & hair done. Its not easy okay... Each person takes approx 1 1/2 Hours

This is their "After" pics. I forgot to take the "Before". (Plus they would not approve it to be published here!)

In between make-up, they took turns to do the interview(s)

And then it was time to pose!

And more pose!! Haha... We made them change into 3 different outfits. It was fun.

The girls are pretty funny. Some poses are easy to look, but pretty painful to do. They smile beautifully when the camera is on. You should see their face when it's off!

Once we're done with the outdoor shots, we proceeded inside.

They help each other on how to pose. Teamwork... Very Good!

And they were VERY LUCKY to have these 2 helpful wardrobe manager. Haha

And they took good pictures.

Overall it was good. I'm proud of the girls. It was about 4:00 pm when they had a chance to sit down and grab their lunch. And we had a chat:

Me: Very good. Well Done.
Gals : Yeay.. Thanks!
Me: When can we do the next one?
Gals: Huh?! Got some more??
Me: Oh Yeah.... How about next week? Ok?

They thought it's over but it's just the beginning. Wacth out for Rookies's Next Top Model... Soon! haha

Shoot

I’m quite familiar with all the equipments above. I see it every time I organize interviews, shooting etc. I’ve made frequent visits to studios and sets and oversee the entire process.

But this time around, it’s a different case because I didn’t have any client to brief (and remind them what to say, what not to say etc) because instead of being behind the camera, I am in the picture.

Then it was time to say "It's a wrap!"

What is it about? I wish i can just blog about it but i can't. I'll share the details when the time is right. Most probably in end August.
