It took us months to plan. For the very first time, my entire family goes on a vacation abroad together. It was a major challenge trying to match everyone's schedule (including the kids and their school etc!).

I was worried throughout the planning stage, and it was totally worth it. I guess if there's a will, there's a way for sure! 

First time for all of us to get on board. On AirAsa of course!

The first thing we did : get soaked! 

We went out to explore the night market after dinner. There were plenty of cute decorations everywhere 

Patong Beach - it was busy but we had our own spot - the kids built their sand castles, and jump in the water back and forth. 

I was hoping to get a nice tan! 

After a long day, we went to get pampered at a local spa. The famous Thai foot massage!

Aireen Omar : Influential Women In Treasury

Today our CEO, Aireen was named one of ’25 Most Influential Women in Treasury’ at the Women in Treasury Summit held in Singapore. Aireen was the Director of Corporate Finance & Treasury for AirAsia Berhad before helming the CEO position in 2012.

The ’25 Most Influential Women in Treasury’ list is compiled to inspire more women into the business of treasury and finance, which is predominantly populated by men; and to recognize the hard work of those who toil endlessly to ensure their company is properly funded and protecting their corporate wallet with strong convictions, understanding of financial markets, communication skills and self-assuredness.

Launch of AirAsia Asean Pass

Last November, the co-founders of AirAsia; Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and Datuk Kamarudin Meranun announced the development of a brand new product for AirAsia guests. They wanted to create something that would allow everyone to travel, explore and enjoy many beautiful destinations in Asean at a fix price.

My Lombok Express

Last December I went for a quick trip to the beautiful island of Lombok with my colleagues. We decided to spend the entire weekend chilling at a private villa resort on Batu Layar hill. 

The villa was simply amazing. It was beautiful and very comfy but most importantly, it has a breathtaking view, surrounded by lush greenery. We spent hours soaking in the pool and enjoyed the beautiful nature.
