Last November, the co-founders of AirAsia; Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and Datuk Kamarudin Meranun announced the development of a brand new product for AirAsia guests. They wanted to create something that would allow everyone to travel, explore and enjoy many beautiful destinations in Asean at a fix price.
The product is "AirAsia Asean Pass" - a first of its kind in this region. Holders of the pass can enjoy flights to over 148 routes across all 10 Asean countries.
Flights are valued according to credits, which means you can be creative in planning your ideal trip throughout Asean countries. In another words, you can choose to fly to any destinations in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
The product was officially launched in Bangkok on 23rd February 2015. There are 2 types of Asean pass:
AirAsia Asean Pass | MYR 499 |10 credits
AirAsia Asean Pass+ | MYR 888 | 20 credits
