"Balik Kampung"

6.16am, LCCT

I am writing this entry as I wait for my boarding time. Catching a 0705am flight to home sweet home.

As usual, I didn't sleep the whole night (this is my 3rd time doing this!).I had my Iftar in the car earlier because I was stuck in a crazy traffic. Went home, and later on headed to Fedo’s parents’ house to park my car. I’m sure everyone agrees that one must park their car at a much secured place during the festive season. I certainly don’t feel good with the idea of leaving my car unattended for 10 days in my neighbourhood.

My sister’s wedding video is finally done, so I had a special screening with Liena, Azli, Fedo & Reen. We were laughing all the way. Besides, I need to see them before I go back for Raya. I just came to realise that we do this every year and it’s really sweet.

It was approx 2.00am when I started digging my stuff. I can’t help it; I'm just so used to last minute packing. I kept telling myself “I don’t have that much stuff” and guess what? My bag was 2.5 kg overweight!

(Note: Excess baggage is RM15 per kg -not too bad! )

Ok, back to the story now… The reason I decided not to sleep is because it’s just way too risky for a nap. The possibility for me missing the flight is way higher than me waking up on time. Lol.

Went out at 4.30 am. I drove Fedo's car. He work here, so, he will be driving it back home later. (This is what I call a good planning!)

As usual LCCT is packed. But everything is smooth.

Luckly, Air Asia encourages DIY concept. And they invented Kiosk Check-In which hed helped the process. I used it last year and it took me 3 minutes to obtain my boarding pass. Since I have a luggage to check in, I had to queue up.

Well, i'm pretty excited to go back to Kedah for this Eid. It is a very important celebration for us, and I certainly need a break to ease my mind.

Eid Mubarak. Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir Batin!

~Cheers
