恭喜发财

新年快乐! to everyone who celebrate this auspicious festival. May the year of the snake bring us all prosperity, good health and peace of mind. May the snake scare away all the bad luck and bite our problems.

Enjoy a week-long of family reunions, temple visits and gastronomic excess. Not to forget, the "Dum Dum Chiang" of the lion dance, the clacking of mahjong tiles and explosions of firecrackers.

To those not celebrating CNY, happy holidays. Please drive carefully, and go to the airport early to avoid congestion.

CNY in the air!

At AirAsia, we celebrate almost every celebration. After christmas, the Redfort is immersed in the Chinese New Year atmosphere.

In a true AirAsia style, a celebration is never complete if its not shared with our beloved guests. Yesterday the God Of Prosperity came to meet our guests at the LCCT terminal to giveaway the AirAsia fortune cookies and other CNY goodies.

Guest what? Few guests were very lucky and they won free flights to exotic holiday islands!

Chinese New Year Travel Advisory

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and the airport is getting busier! If you are travelling with AirAsia during this festive season, my advise is to make sure you ARRIVE at the airport at least 3 hours prior to flight departure time for check-in to avoid disappointment.

Remember the roads leading to the airport are expected to be congested as well.

The best and smartest way of travelling during this peak period is to perform web check-in or mobile check-in. Dont forget to print out the boarding passes before proceeding to the airport.

Guests who have printed their boarding passes can proceed to the Baggage Drop Counters to drop your baggage. For more information on how to perform Web Check-In or Mobile check-in, do check out http://bit.ly/WtbBHa

FYI, Web and mobile check-in can be performed 14 days before your flight up to 60 minutes before departure (AirAsia flights). For AirAsia X flights, both services are available 14 days before flight up to 4 hours before departure.

We hope you have a pleasant journey home to your loved ones! GONG Xi FA CHAI!!
