Hari Raya Haji

I'm a very family-oriented person. And Hari Raya has always been @ home. But like last year, i'm celebrating Hari Raya Haji here in KL. Not because i dont want to go back; but there's just too many things happening and i was @ home last week for my sister's engagement.

I couldnt help but feeling a lil sad, just being here in KL. Most of the shops around my house are closed. I'm depending on Dominos, KFC & McD.

But... This Hari Raya Haji has been great!

Me, Fedo & Azli were watching DVDs the whole night and slept around 4am. I woke up pretty early and forced the other two to get ready. Breakfast was only drinks from 7-11 (every freaking restaurant was closed!).

I made them dressed up in the traditional baju melayu and we went visiting. First stop was Fedo's house. Her mum's cook was really good as always. From there, we headed to Izwan's house. There we had more food.

Next stop was Azli's house. More food! I went home earlier and the group went to visit few celeb's house. I had a date with my darlin Zaff & Opie (they brought McD). We hang out for about 2 hours. Discussed about the wedding and stuff.

10 mins after they left, Izwan, Azli & Fedo came. And an hour later, Yanie, her super cute baby, Ayu and Puteri came.

Note: I wanrned everyone that my place have no food!

We hang out for quite a while and around 11pm, everyone was getting hungry again so we went to Oldtown.

It's a great Hari Raya. There was nothing elaborate like @ home but having good friends around on this day is equally special. Alhamdulillah.

My sister's engagement

I've been meaning to blog about this since Saturday but just didnt have the time. I've been really busy. I have like a million things happening.. But so far so good.

Anyway, my sister got engaged last weekend. It was held in Alor Setar. The ceremony went pretty well. It was a great oppurtunity to meet up with my cousins and relatives.
